Salmonberry Trail Intergovernmental Agency board meeting to be held in city of Banks December 1st

Banks, Oregon – The Salmonberry Trail Intergovernmental Agency will hold a board meeting at Banks Fire District #13 on Friday, December 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. to discuss ownership issues, fundraising, legal concerns, and planning the “Valley” segment of the trail route, which includes the city of Banks and the unincorporated communities of Manning and Timber. There will be an opportunity for public comment at the beginning of the meeting and at the end of the meeting.

The Salmonberry Trail Intergovernmental Agency is a group established in December 2015 to form a framework of government agencies – including the Oregon Department of Forestry, Washington County, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and others – and is the government entity responsible for promoting and leading planning, development and maintenance of the proposed Salmonberry Trail.
